PC 677/877 -
the new Panel PC-Family
for most demanding industrial applications
Designed for tough and demanding
environment of industrial machinery SIMATIC HMI offers
two new Panel PC series in a most attractive shape:
- the exeptionally compact SIMATIC
Panel PC 677
- and the easily expandable
SIMATIC Panel PC 877
Both of them will be available
with five different types of front panels:
- 12 inch touch (PC 677 only)
or keyboard front panels
- 15 inch touch or keyboard
front panels
- and a 19 inch touch panel
for most demanding visualization tasks.
With IP 65/ NEMA 4 degree of
protection on the front, a aluminium die casting housing
and a high vibration and shock load the PC 677/877 meet
most demanding industrial requirements.
With regard to performance
and operating efficiency the new Panel PC 677/877 convince
due to their innovative architecture:
- IntelŪ PentiumŪ M Processor
(PC 677) or IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 Processor (PC 877),
- Main memory expandable to
2 GB
- 60 000 h MTBF (Mean time between
failure) of the display
The PC 677/877 come along with
plenty of innovations regarding its connectivity:
- A high-speed USB 2.0 interface
integrated in the front. External PC peripheral devices
such as a memory stick or a portable DVD writer can
connect to it for rapid data storage.
- Four additional USB interfaces
on the device rear.
- 2 PCI-slots inside the PC
677
- 1 ISA- slot (long), 2 PCI
and 2 PCI/ISA (long) shared slots inside the PC 877
